Job summary

Proof of the Pudding is hiring additional Bartenders to join our Catering Events team in Grand Prairie, TX. You will handle beverage setup, guest service, and closing inventory while ensuring a clean, organized bar area throughout events.

The role requires 2+ years of bartending, TIPs certification, and exceptional customer service. Duties include bar setup/breakdown, teaming with bar backs, and traveling to events from the Gil’s Elegant Catering facility in Grand Prairie.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bartending experience.
• Must be team oriented and a strong communicator.
• Experience in preparing mixed drinks and cocktails.
• Exceptional customer service skills required.
• TIPs certification or equivalent accepted.
• Strong work ethic, organization, and reliability.
• Excellent grooming and professional appearance.
• Familiarity with upscale/VIP service styles.
• Must be able to commute to Grand Prairie, TX.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down the bar for events.
• Provide timely bar setup and guest service.
• Coordinate with bar backs for replenishment during shifts.
• Greet guests and deliver exceptional service.
• Record closing inventory and balance bar consumption.
• Store items properly after events.
