Job summary

The Savoy in downtown Kansas City, located within the historic Hotel Savoy, seeks a Server Assistant to support the restaurant team and deliver an exceptional guest experience.

You will assist servers, maintain dining room cleanliness, deliver food and beverages, reset tables, and help ensure efficient service during each shift. Prior fine dining or hospitality experience is preferred; weekend availability required.

Qualifications

• Fine dining or upscale restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately.
• Assist servers with guest requests and table maintenance.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables throughout service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, service stations, and work areas.
• Refill water glasses and assist with beverage service as needed.
• Polish and stock glassware, silverware, and other service items.
• Assist with opening and closing side work duties.
• Stock service stations with necessary supplies throughout the shift.
• Support servers during busy service periods to ensure efficient operations.
• Assist with banquet and private dining events when needed.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
• Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to guests at all times.
