Job summary

Grayson's, located on the Goodstone estate in Middleburg, Virginia, seeks an experienced Restaurant Floor Supervisor to lead the front-of-house team and ensure exceptional guest experiences in an elevated dining setting.

You will coach service staff, coordinate with the culinary team, and uphold luxury hospitality standards while guiding shifts and maintaining guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of fine dining or upscale restaurant experience.
• Previous leadership experience as Lead Server, Shift Leader, Supervisor, or similar role preferred.
• Strong understanding of luxury hospitality and fine dining service standards.
• Wine knowledge and the ability to recommend pairings confidently.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-of-house operations during assigned shifts.
• Supervise servers, bartenders, hosts, food runners, and support staff.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate daily priorities, menu features, and guest information.
• Maintain a visible leadership presence throughout service.
• Monitor service flow, pacing, and guest satisfaction.
• Complete table touches and proactively resolve guest concerns.
• Coach, mentor, and support team members during service.
• Assist with onboarding and training new employees.
• Partner with the culinary team to ensure seamless communication between the dining room and kitchen.
• Manage reservations, seating flow, and special guest requests.
• Ensure compliance with service, sanitation, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards.
• Complete opening and closing procedures, daily reports, and operational checklists.
• Step into service positions as needed to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
• Help build a positive, professional, and team-focused culture.
