You will work under chefs to ensure timely meals and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. The position requires at least one year of cooking experience, a preferred culinary degree, and the ability to follow standardized recipes while maintaining cleanliness

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of cooking experience, preferably in an upscale high-volume environment.
• Culinary degree preferred.
• Must be able to speak, read and understand basic cooking directions.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and plate presentation.
• Knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Knowledge of table settings and service ware.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and garnishes all food orders per menu specifications.
• Prepares sauces, soups and hot entrees according to recipes.
• Uses and measures ingredients accurately; follows prep lists.
• Operates kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Tasts foods to ensure standards are met; consults with Chefs as needed.
• Maintains clean, organized work stations and storage areas.
• Coordinates with servers to ensure timely service and correct portions.
• Supports cost control by minimizing waste and following SOPs.
• Delivers 100% guest satisfaction through genuine hospitality and teamwork.
