Beacon Grand in San Francisco's Union Square seeks a Bartender at Starlite to lead the guest beverage experience in a high-energy lounge. You will execute a sophisticated program with precise pours and impeccable service.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in a high-volume, upscale cocktail lounge, craft bar, or luxury hotel environment.
• Deep understanding of classic cocktail builds, spirits categories, and wine service; knowledge of trends is essential.
• Exceptional ability to multi-task under pressure with a calm, theatrical presence.
• Fluent in English with sophisticated, clear communication to a high-end clientele.
• Current Food Handler and Alcohol Service Certifications (e.g., LEAD/TIPS) are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a curated menu of classic and signature cocktails with exactness, focusing on proper technique, balanced flavors, and exquisite garnishing.
• Curate a sophisticated bar-side experience; engage guests with professional charisma and expert recommendations from our spirits and wine collection.
• Maintain an immaculate and organized bar and mise en place to prep for high-volume surges.
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of spirits, bitters, infusions, and glassware; ensure consistent pours across service.
• Work with Server Assistants and floor staff to keep the bar stocked with polished glassware and ice.
• Manage cash/credit transactions; perform opening/closing duties, inventory counts, and deep-cleaning protocols.
