Job summary

Cinépolis USA seeks a Bar Attendant to join our theater team in a luxury cinema setting. You will greet guests, take orders, and mix drinks with menu knowledge to create an exceptional guest experience.

This role requires bartending experience, ServSafe and alcohol certifications, and flexibility to work nights, holidays, and weekends. You’ll use Vista POS and ensure ID checks and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1+ years of bartending experience with a full bar.
• ServSafe and Alcohol training certifications are required.
• Ability to work with Vista Point of Sale System and perform basic math.
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with employees, guests, and management.
• Organized and able to prioritize in a fast paced and changing environment.
• Great communication skills and ability to handle difficult situations.
• Flexible working hours including nights, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests who approach all bar areas with hospitality.
• Take food and beverage orders rapidly and accurately with upselling.
• Know bar and menu items and make recommendations.
• Check IDs to ensure patrons meet age requirements.
• Mix, garnish, and serve drinks for server orders and patrons.
• Clean as you go and maintain bar cleanliness.
• Maintain inventory levels and keep supervisor updated.
• Process payments accurately for theater transactions.
• Handle guest complaints and direct to proper resources.
• Complete opening, mid, and closing procedures and side work.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
