Job summary

Cinépolis USA is seeking a bar/server staff member for our theater locations in Florida. You will greet guests, take orders, prepare and serve drinks, verify IDs, and maintain bar operations in a fast-paced cinema environment.

Responsibilities include ensuring guest satisfaction, upselling, handling payments, and adhering to safety and cleanliness standards while supporting team members during peak hours. This role requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1+ years of bartending experience.
• ServSafe and Alcohol training certifications are required.
• Ability to work with Vista Point of Sale System and perform basic math.
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with employees, guests, and management.
• Organized and able to prioritize in a fast paced and constantly changing environment while maintaining a smile and positive attitude.
• Great communication skills with the ability to handle difficult and stressful situations and issues positively.
• Flexible working hours including nights, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests who approach all bar areas immediately with a smile and warm hospitality.
• Demonstrate passion and commitment by taking food and beverage orders and upselling.
• Know bar/menu items and make recommendations.
• Check IDs to enforce age requirements for alcohol (21+).
• Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for bar, lobby, and lounge.
• Keep bar clean; wash glasses, utensils, and equipment.
• Implement alcohol service safety and avoid over-serving.
• Set up and maintain stock levels for the bar; update supervisor on inventory.
• Wash and sanitize stemware.
• Process payments accurately for smooth theater transitions.
• Handle guest complaints and requests or direct to proper resources.
• Complete opening, mid, and closing procedures and other duties as assigned.
