Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas is seeking a Busperson for The Library at Park MGM to support a refined dining room and service flow. You will polish flatware, reset tables, and coordinate with servers to deliver guest service in a non-smoking, upscale setting.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of busperson experience in fine dining or upscale venues, must be 21+, and available to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 1+ years of prior relevant experience as a busperson in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with servers to ensure proper guest service.
• Polish flatware, set up tables with appropriate silverware, glassware, linen, condiments, and accessories, fold napkins properly and ensure ashtrays are clean and available on tables in designated smoking areas.
• Clear, clean, and sanitize booth/chair cushions and tables completely, and reset with clean linens, ashtrays, votive candles, glassware, and any additional tabletop items needed.
• Remove dirty dishes, debris, and linens from table and bring to the kitchen for proper washing and disposing of trash in designated receptacles.
• Coordinate table availability and constantly communicates with Server, Hostess, and Management to ensure tables are turned efficiently.
• Serve water, coffee, and soft drinks, refilling when needed.
