Job summary

MGM Resorts International at Luxor is hiring a Busperson to keep dining areas, storerooms, and beverage stations clean while contributing to a fast-paced, stadium-style pub atmosphere. You’ll work closely with servers and runners to ensure quick table turns, fully stocked stations, and flawlessly organized pickup areas, delivering the premier hospitality MGM is known for.

The team empowers staff to deliver uninterrupted, show-stopping experiences.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• 1+ years of relevant experience as a Busperson or Food Runner in a fast-paced or high-volume restaurant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with servers to ensure proper guest service.
• Polish flatware, set up tables with appropriate silverware, glassware, linen, condiments, and accessories, fold napkins properly and ensure ashtrays are clean and available on tables in designated smoking areas.
• Clear, clean, and sanitize booth/chair cushions and tables completely, and reset with clean linens, ashtrays, votive candles, glassware, and any additional tabletop items needed.
• Remove dirty dishes, debris, and linens from table and bring to the kitchen for proper washing and disposing of trash in designated receptacles.
• Coordinate table availability and constantly communicates with Server, Hostess, and Management to ensure tables are turned efficiently.
• Serve water, coffee, and soft drinks, refilling when needed.
• Ensure that dining room floors are clean and free of debris.
