Job summary

The Seahaus Hotel’s Field & Vine at The Clara Hotel in Plano, TX is hiring a full-time Bartender/Server to deliver polished service in both the bar and dining room. You will prepare beverages, serve food, process payments, and keep a clean, well-stocked workspace.

This is a tipped, hourly position with overtime eligibility under federal and Texas law. The role requires 18+, ability to obtain TABC seller/server certification, Texas food-handler training within 30 days, strong communication,

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to obtain and maintain TABC seller/server certification.
• Able to complete an accredited Texas food-handler training program within 30 days of employment.
• Able to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
• Able to accurately handle payments and operate a POS system.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide timely, attentive, and professional service.
• Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders using the restaurant’s POS system.
• Prepare alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages according to approved recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Verify identification and follow all applicable TABC requirements when serving alcoholic beverages.
• Refuse or discontinue alcohol service when required by law or company policy.
• Maintain knowledge of Field & Vine’s offerings and menus.
• Communicate allergy and dietary information accurately to the culinary team.
• Monitor the guest experience and respond to questions or concerns.
• Present checks, process payments, and complete cash-handling responsibilities.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, organized bar and service area.
• Complete opening, closing, and side-work tasks.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, workplace-safety, and responsible alcohol-service requirements.
