Job summary

Field & Vine at The Clara Hotel in Plano, TX is hiring a full-time Bartender/Server to deliver polished beverage and dining service in the bar and dining room. This role mixes alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks, serves meals, processes payments, and keeps a clean, well-stocked workspace.

The position is tipped, hourly, nonexempt and eligible for overtime under federal and Texas law, with a base wage of $13 per hour plus tips.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcohol.
• Ability to obtain and maintain TABC seller/server certification.
• Ability to complete Texas food-handler training within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide timely, attentive, professional service.
• Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders using the POS system.
• Prepare alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards.
• Verify ID and follow all TABC requirements when serving alcohol.
• Process payments and manage cash with accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and stocked bar and service area.
• Follow food-safety and safety procedures.
