Kona Grill - Oak Brook is seeking a bartender to deliver a premium bar experience in a high-volume, upscale setting. You will craft cocktails, engage guests, and ensure consistency with signature drinks.

This role requires knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and a passion for guest service. Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays is expected; eVerify is used to confirm U.S. employment eligibility.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in a high-volume, upscale bar or restaurant preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktails, wines, and craft beer.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work efficiently under pressure.
• Excellent guest engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift trays or bar equipment as needed.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must follow all alcohol service guidelines and always represent the brand professionally.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve signature cocktails, classic drinks, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Maintain knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and cocktail recipes.
• Engage with guests, provide menu recommendations and an interactive experience.
• Process drink orders accurately into the POS system.
• Maintain proper cash handling procedures.
