Job summary

STK Chicago is hiring a Bartender to craft cocktails and deliver a premium bar experience in a fast-paced, upscale setting. You will anticipate guest needs, execute flawless drinks, and contribute to a high-energy atmosphere.

Ideal candidates bring strong mixology knowledge, exceptional guest engagement, and the ability to multitask under pressure while maintaining brand standards and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in a high-volume, upscale bar or restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, and craft beer.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve signature cocktails, classic drinks, and non-alcoholic beverages to high standards.
• Maintain expert knowledge of spirits, wines, and cocktails.
• Engage with guests, offer recommendations, and provide an interactive experience.
• Enter orders accurately into the POS system.
• Handle cash and card transactions with precision.
• Set up and maintain a clean, organized bar before, during, and after shifts.
• Garnish drinks, replenish snacks, and present beverages attractively.
• Assist with food orders for guests at the bar and ensure timely delivery.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and sanitation standards.
• Report equipment issues to management and perform end-of-shift cash drops.
• Support front-of-house with food running, bussing, and hosting tasks as needed.
