Job summary

Loews Atlanta Hotel is seeking an experienced Restaurant Bartender to craft cocktails, pour wine and beer, and deliver exceptional guest experiences at our Midtown property. You will greet guests, tailor recommendations to preferences, and ensure drink quality and presentation meet high standards in a dynamic restaurant setting.

This full-time role requires at least 2 years of upscale bartending, strong guest-service skills, and the ability to work efficiently during peak periods.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of bartending in upscale bar/restaurant.
• Knowledge of cocktail techniques, beer and wine.
• Excellent guest-service and communication skills.
• Ability to stand, bend and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following recipes and guest preferences.
• Recommend cocktails, wine, or pairings based on guest interests.
• Ensure beverages meet quality and presentation standards.
• Greet guests warmly and provide personalized, attentive service.
• Take drink orders from guests and servers accurately and efficiently; monitor alcohol service.
• Set up and break down the bar, ensure supplies and garnishes are ready for service.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar, including glassware and tools.
• Track inventory levels and report shortages to leadership.
• Adhere to all state and local alcohol service regulations.
• Coordinate with servers, barbacks, and culinary teams for smooth operations.
• Assist with restocking and barback support during busy shifts.
• Regular attendance in conformance with standards and schedules
• Perform other duties as assigned
