The bartender will interact with guests, advise on drink selections, manage inventory, and ensure accurate cash handling. Weekend/evening availability preferred to align with peak hours.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Previous bartending experience in an upscale restaurant is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage presentation.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Beverage preparation: prepare and serve cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision.
• Customer service: greet guests, engage with guests, assist in selecting beverages and provide recommendations.
• Beverage knowledge: know the drink menu ingredients, flavor profiles, pairings, and stay updated on trends.
• Inventory management: monitor bar inventory, ensure stock levels, and budget compliance.
• Cleanliness and organization: maintain a clean bar area and adhere to sanitation guidelines.
• Cash handling: process payments, give change, reconcile sales at shift end.
• Teamwork: collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and other bartenders; assist with training.
