Job summary

Chicago Marriott Northwest is seeking an energetic, customer-focused Bartender to join our Bar Louie team in Hoffman Estates, IL. The ideal candidate will bring hospitality passion, guest-focused service, and experience in full-service settings.

Position requires knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and safe alcohol service, with 1–2 years of bartending experience. Immediate joining preferred; in-person interviews only.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of bartending experience in hotel or full-service restaurant.
• Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and responsible alcohol service.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Deliver exceptional guest service in a friendly, professional, and engaging manner.
• Recommend beverages and food pairings while promoting menu specials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar.
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Verify guest identification and comply with all alcohol service regulations.
• Assist with inventory control, stocking, and bar setup/closing procedures.
• Work closely with the restaurant and kitchen teams to ensure seamless service.
