Job summary

Cunningham Restaurant Group is seeking a friendly Bartender for Shin Dig Plainfield in Plainfield, IN. You will prepare and serve a range of cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks while delivering exceptional guest service in a fast-paced setting.

As part of the Front of House team, you’ll greet guests, suggest beverages, maintain bar stock, follow recipes, and ensure a clean, compliant workspace.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Upscale restaurant bartending experience preferred.
• Knowledge of drink recipes and presentation.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Beverage preparation and service of cocktails, beers, wine and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Greet guests and assist with beverage selections.
• Educate guests about drinks and maintain up-to-date knowledge.
• Monitor bar inventory and manage stock within budget.
• Maintain clean, organized bar area and comply with sanitation guidelines.
• Handle cash/credit transactions and reconcile sales.
• Collaborate with servers and staff; mentor junior bartenders when needed.
