Job summary

The Safelite Group is seeking an experienced UPS WorldShip Installation Specialist to support installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of UPS WorldShip on Windows workstations. This project-based contract role focuses on delivering a fully operational WorldShip environment for shipping operations.

Responsibilities include installing and configuring WorldShip, setting up accounts and printers, migrating data if needed, and providing user guidance and documenting steps for ongoing

Qualifications

Hands-on experience installing and configuring UPS WorldShip.
Strong Windows desktop support experience.
Experience troubleshooting software installation and configuration issues.
Familiarity with printers, USB/network devices, and shipping label printers.
Basic understanding of Windows networking and connectivity troubleshooting.
Ability to work independently and complete a project with minimal supervision.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Install and configure UPS WorldShip on Windows computers.
Set up and configure WorldShip according to business requirements.
Configure UPS shipping accounts and applicable shipping preferences.
Assist with importing or migrating existing WorldShip data when required.
Configure shipping/printer printers and related peripherals.
Verify communication between WorldShip and connected printers/devices.
Configure network settings and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Troubleshoot WorldShip installation and configuration problems.
Test shipping labels and shipment processing after installation.
Verify UPS service options and shipping settings.
Assist with address book and shipment data configuration.
Provide basic user guidance and training after installation.
Document installation steps, configurations, and any issues encountered.
Coordinate with internal staff to ensure the system is fully operational.
Perform final testing and confirm the workstation is ready for daily shipping operations.
