dnata USA is seeking a ground handler in Texas to load and unload cargo on UPS flights, handling up to 70 lbs and coordinating cargo movements on aircraft. You will operate motorized equipment and read load sheets to ensure accurate weight and balance.

You will
Load and unload UPS flights.
Lift cargo weighing up to 70 lbs. when loading and unloading aircraft, carts, and containers.
Loading and unloading may require handling over 100 items for a single aircraft.
Push and pull loaded and empty carts and containers during loading and unloading operations.
Couple and uncouple carts and cargo container dollies.
Ascend and descend jetway stairs while carrying cargo.
Bend, stoop, and crawl to move and stack/unstack cargo in aircraft and containers.
Stand for up to 4 hours in all weather conditions to load or unload cargo and direct traffic.
Walk continuously to load and unload cargo from pallets, containers, carts, or conveyor belts.
Complete safety checklists for motorized equipment.
Drive and operate motorized equipment, such as tugs and belt loaders.
Read and interpret aircraft load sheets, checked baggage tags, and cargo labels.
Operate a computer to enter and retrieve data for weight and balance purposes.
Count baggage and cargo being loaded and unloaded during operations.
Connect support equipment to aircraft, such as PC Air and GPU.
Use signalling devices to communicate with co-workers or flight crew.
Ensure compliance with dnata, TSA, and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and policies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
