Job summary

dnata USA at IAD Virginia Airport is seeking team members to handle passenger check-in, document verification and boarding procedures for international and domestic flights.

You will maintain knowledge of flight times, assist with baggage handling, connect jetways, and coordinate with Airlines and Ground Handlers while delivering excellent customer service. This role requires physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods and the ability to lift light loads as needed.

Qualifications

• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer literacy to operate check-in systems and terminals.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and walk for extended periods.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license and FAA/Airport IDs or authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Electronic check-in of passengers for international travel.
• Verification of documents for international and domestic flights.
• Ensure correct boarding passes are provided to each passenger for the assigned flight.
• Verify ticket and seat reservations.
• Match manifest to on-board count.
• Announce arrivals and departures as necessary.
• Provide information to passengers/customers as requested.
• Connect/disconnect Jetway/stairs as necessary.
• Assist with baggage tagging and baggage claim reports.
• Maintain current knowledge of all flight times during designated shift.
• Maintain liaison with Airlines, Customer Service Representatives and Ground Handlers.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

You will

Possess and maintain a valid state driver's license and other FAA/Airport required identification/seals or authorizations.

Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.

Push, pull, lift, and load up to 70 pounds.
