Job summary

Rise Technical is seeking an experienced UPS Field Service Engineer for a home-based role in the Atlanta region with ~30% travel. You will commission, maintain and troubleshoot UPS systems, batteries, PDUs and STS units across multiple manufacturers, supporting data centers and critical facilities.

The ideal candidate has UPS/critical power field service experience, strong electrical troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience as UPS Field Service Engineer or in critical power maintenance.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and safety awareness.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Location: Atlanta, GA home based with approximately 30% overnight travel

Are you an experienced UPS Field Service Engineer looking for greater technical autonomy, excellent earning potential and the opportunity to progress within a rapidly growing critical power specialist?

In this role, you will commission, maintain and troubleshoot UPS systems, batteries, PDUs and Static Transfer Switches. You will provide preventive maintenance and emergency support while delivering technical recommendations that directly improve customer reliability and uptime.

This role would suit an experienced UPS Field Service Engineer who wants technical variety, independence and genuine long term progression within a growing organization.

The Role:
