Job summary

Evergreen Talent Partners is seeking a UPS Field Service Engineer to support critical power systems at customer sites across regional coverage, including data centers. You will handle installation, servicing, start-ups and commissioning, provide on-site and phone assistance, and strive for a first-time fix while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

Experience with installation, servicing, start-ups and commissioning of UPS systems.
3+ years’ experience with troubleshooting down to component level on UPS, batteries, PDUs and ATS.
Working knowledge of Ohm's law and electronic theory.
Technical Degree in Electronics or Military Electronics Training is a plus.
Previous military experience and training is a plus.

Responsibilities

Commission, maintain and provide emergency support on power electronics at customers’ sites within regional coverage.
Render on-site and phone technical assistance to customers.
Perform general and preventive maintenance on UPS systems.
Respond to emergency calls and strive for first-time fixes.
Provide accurate and timely reporting of expenses and Field Service Reports.
