Keystone School seeks a full-time history instructor with a start date of August 1, 2025 for the 2025-2026 school year. We welcome applicants committed to teaching history in an accelerated environment. Successful candidates will have a passion for working with high school aged students.

Required qualifications and experience include:

• A commitment to Keystone School's mission
• Experience teaching AP or college level equivalent US government/political science/civics courses
• Experience teaching either the AP World or AP US History course
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
• Staying current with trends in history education
• Understanding of developmental stages in adolescence
• Ability to function as a member of a team and to work cooperatively with administrators, teachers, students, and parents
• Ability to serve as an advisor to upper school aged students
• Bachelor’s degree with a strong background in educating Upper School students.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience working with advanced and gifted history students
• Experience with other social science electives like regional studies or economics
• Experience running a Model United Nations club
• Masters or PhD degree
