Job summary

Great Hearts Academies is seeking an Assistant Headmaster - Upper School at its Lakeside campus in Fort Worth. The role leads academic, instructional, and disciplinary matters and serves as a liaison among families, students, faculty, and staff, reporting to the Headmaster.

The ideal candidate is an experienced liberal arts instructor with a deep knowledge of the Great Books curriculum and a commitment to an open-enrollment, classical education model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree at minimum.
• Experience as a liberal arts instructor and knowledge of providing a Great Books core curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Acts as liaison for families, students, faculty and staff regarding students.
• Coordinates with Lead Office staff on academic and instructional matters.
• Oversee staff duty assignments and plan school events.
• Participate in long- and short-range planning for the school.
• Lead faculty meetings and open houses with the Headmaster.
