Job summary

The Overlake School in Redmond, Washington seeks a licensed educator to teach AP Physics, Engineering & Design, and Design Thinking. This full-time, in-person role runs 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Monday through Friday with occasional evenings and weekends for school events. A Bachelor’s degree in physics, engineering, or related field is required. The successful candidate will design diverse curricula, differentiate instruction for a range of learners, and contribute to a mission-driven community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physics, engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Teach two sections of AP Physics, one section of Engineering and Design and one section of Design Thinking.
• Attend required school events and meetings as directed by School Leadership.
• Proctor exams and oversee AP-related assessments.
• Serve as an advisor/homeroom teacher and participate in Project Week.
