What you will do
- The Upper Extremities Sales Associate will collaborate closely with Sales Representatives to learn the medical device industry and the Upper Extremities business, contributing to growth within the assigned territory. Responsibilities include supporting sales calls, marketing products, building sets, managing inventory, and beginning to convert customers to Stryker.
- Attend surgeries involving Stryker Upper Extremities products to ensure product availability and instruct surgeons on product use and functionality.
- Educate healthcare staff on proper product use, functionality, updates, and educational programs.
- Work with sales teams to identify sales opportunities, provide excellent customer service, and strengthen customer relationships.
- Identify prospects' needs and develop tailored responses in collaboration with the Sales Representative.
- Post-training, customize Stryker’s promotional messages based on customer knowledge, advise on product selection, and answer product-related questions.
- Conduct field calls in the assigned territory.
- Assist in implementing sales strategies and marketing plans to meet or exceed targets, working with the team.
- Serve as a backup contact for Sales Reps and understand regulatory compliance issues, adhering to all guidelines.
- Help resolve account issues and manage inventory levels and sets to meet customer demands.
- Assist with processing Customer Purchase Orders and maintain ongoing sales and product training.
- Market the product line effectively, staying current with industry trends and competitive landscape.
- Participate in sales meetings and professional events outside regular hours.
- Maintain compliance with privacy, confidentiality, and legal standards, acting ethically and responsibly.
What you need
- Bachelor’s Degree OR
- Associate’s degree or Medical Certification (e.g., CST, PT, CPT) + at least 2 years of related experience
- High School Diploma + at least 4 years of related experience
- 4+ years of active military service
