Job summary

Learning Care is hiring a State Pre-K Assistant Teacher to guide 4-year-olds and support families, with a focus on kindergarten readiness. We offer a strong team, competitive benefits, and ongoing training.

You will follow licensing guidelines, observe and plan for children, and engage with families. The role requires an Associate's in ECE or related field, or a CDA, and prior licensed childcare experience. Monday-Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Associates in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related or an active CDA in Preschool.
• Experience in a licensed childcare center or related field.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Instruct 4-year-olds based on each child's needs and program requirements.
• Follow licensing guidelines, company standards and grant requirements.
• Observe, assess, plan for children and communicate with families.
• Complete training on child care, preschool and development topics.
