Job summary

City of Madison Parks and Recreation is seeking a Program Coordinator to supervise sports programs and summer camp operations. You will support the Recreation Director, assist with program development, and ensure safety and proper records for all community activities.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Recreation or related field, plus experience with public programs and CPR/First Aid readiness. This is a full-time position with on-site duties and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Recreation, Education or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years related experience in qualifications.
• Experience working with general public and children is a must.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Recreation Sports and Camp Programs.
• Assist Recreation Director and coordinators in programming activities.
• Plan, promote and develop sports, leisure and camp programs.
• Maintain reports and records for programs and registrations.
• Monitor safety and perform daily inspections of facilities and fields.
• Assist with front desk operations and revenue tracking.
