Job summary

Kravet in North Carolina is seeking an upholsterer frame assembler responsible for installing springs using the 8-way hand tie method and preparing frames for seating components.

You will cover springs, install no sags, and apply polypropylene, edge wire, and wire webbing as needed while adhering to safety policies.

This position requires standing up to nine hours, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced furniture manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to stand, walk and move for up to nine hours per day.
• Previous upholstery or furniture manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Must pass criminal background check and drug testing.
• Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness.

Responsibilities

• Places springs in frame and ties down using the 8-way hand tie method.
• Covers springs in seat with FLW and attaches using staple gun.
• Installs no sags on back of frame as needed.
• Applies polypropylene to arms.
• Applies edge wire where needed.
• May be responsible for webbing process.
• Frequently rotates in each job functions throughout the day.
• Must follow all safety policies and procedures.
