Job summary

Kravet LLC is seeking a production upholsterer to install springs using the 8-way hand tie method in a furniture manufacturing environment. You will also web burlap, cover springs, and apply edge wire and polypropylene as part of the seating assembly process.

The role requires standing for long periods, attention to detail, and adherence to safety policies. Prior upholstery experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand, walk and move for up to nine hours per day.
• Previous upholstery or furniture manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Must pass criminal background check and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Place springs in frame and tie down using the 8-way hand tie method.
• Cover springs with FLW and attach using staple gun.
• Install no sags on back of frame as needed.
• Apply polypropylene to arms.
• Apply edge wire where needed.
• May be responsible for webbing process.
• Frequently rotates in each job functions throughout the day.
• Must follow all safety policies and procedures.
