Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is seeking a production associate for our fast-paced upholstery line. The role involves standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and using power tools to assemble components. Shifts run 4 PM - 2:30 AM Monday-Thursday with overtime on Fridays, and weekly hours are 40.

Safety, quality, and teamwork are essential in this hands-on role. Responsibilities include upholstering, framing, cushioning, final assembly and packaging, following tickets and specifications.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per day with frequent bending, twisting and reaching.
• Capacity to push, pull, and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Comfort with power tools, framing and staple guns as part of upholstery processes.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team atmosphere and perform any cell position as needed.
• Proper use of Kan Ban containers and assembly of furniture components.
• Upholster frames, cushions and final assembly according to specifications.
• Package finished units and prepare for shipment.
