Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is hiring for a production upholstery role in Missouri. You will hand-build quality furniture, using staple guns, drills, and framing tools while maintaining daily production goals. The position requires standing long hours, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working within a team in a fast-paced cell.

The shift runs 4 PM – 2:30 AM, Monday to Thursday, with mandatory overtime on Fridays to meet deadlines. Benefits include medical, dental, and 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Experience with upholstery and power tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble furniture components according to upholstery notes and specs.
• Operate staple gun, hammer, drill, and other hand tools.
• Coordinate workflow within the cell and move units as needed.
• Pack and finalize finished units for packaging.
