Job Purpose

Performs assembly of upholstered parts and/or mechanical and electromechanical component parts.

Essential Job Functions

• Use proper equipment to produce high quality upholstery, including side sewing.
• Analyze rejected product, communicate with Lead Assembler and assist in problem resolution.
• Assemble various components using hand tools, air tools and measuring equipment to meet specifications.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills Needed

• Mechanical aptitude.
• Understanding of safety.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with machine sewing.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with hand tools.

Working Conditions

May require lifting of 35 lbs. occasionally; involves repetitive motion; work area can be noisy.
