Position Details

Location: North Little Rock, AR

Schedule & Shift: A Shift (7:00 am – 7:00 pm – rotating days)

Responsibilities

1. Load, unload, and move materials within the plant by reading work orders/invoices and/or following oral instructions.
2. Count, weigh, and record the number of units of materials moved or handled on a daily transaction sheet and/or in computer system.
3. Attach identifying tags or labels to materials, cases, or other containers.
4. Replace damaged pallets and wrap pallets (electronically and/or manually).
5. Drive a forklift to lift, stack, or move products, equipment, or materials in warehouse and production areas.
6. Use safety scissors, hammers, wire cutters, and safety knives as needed.
7. Use large equipment such as pallet jacks (electronically and manually) occasionally.
8. Constantly operate forklifts.
9. Record production data into Microsoft Access database.
10. Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety procedures.
11. Report all injuries and illnesses immediately to supervision and Employee Health Services.
12. Perform custodial duties as required.
13. Perform other duties as directed.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Complete performance-based forklift certification (written and performance test).
• Basic Microsoft Office and computer skills.
• Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Effective communication in English (written and verbal).
• Wear all proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
