Job summary

Inception Technologies is seeking a contract Unreal Engine Technical Artist / Simulation Engineer to build interactive 3D environments, systems, and workflows for AI evaluation. You will implement gameplay logic, scene behaviors, and robust Unreal workflows to support agent-based testing and iteration.

Work with a small team to ensure scenes are stable, performant, and easy to iterate on, and communicate clearly in a contractor setting.

Qualifications

• Strong Unreal Engine experience building interactive 3D projects.
• Experience with C++ and gameplay scripting.
• Ability to work independently in a contractor setting.

Responsibilities

• Build interactive 3D environments and systems in Unreal Engine
• Create gameplay logic, object interactions, and scene behaviors
• Develop clean, reliable Unreal workflows for structured simulation-style experiences
• Collaborate on environment logic, validation, and technical implementation details
• Help ensure scenes are stable, performant, and easy to iterate on
• Work closely with a small team to turn ideas into production-ready Unreal environments
