Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Unreal Engine Developer to join a collaborative team delivering serious games, simulations, and training applications for mission-critical users in Huntsville. You will work with designers, artists, SMEs, and fellow developers to bring engaging experiences from concept to deployment.

The role focuses on Unreal Engine 4/5 development, writing and optimizing C++ code, code reviews, and adherence to Agile practices in a security-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE TO BE CONSIDERED
• 3+ years of experience developing applications with Unreal Engine 4 or 5
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Game Programming, or a related field
• Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

Responsibilities

• Develop applications using Unreal Engine 4 and 5
• Collaborate with developers, designers, artists, customers, and SMEs throughout the development lifecycle
• Contribute to application design, prototyping, implementation, and delivery
• Write, test, debug, and optimize C++ code
• Conduct peer reviews and document technical designs
• Follow established coding standards and development best practices
• Take ownership of assigned work and help deliver high-quality products in an Agile environment
