Citi is hiring for a Unix SQL Application Support Analyst to provide technical and business support for Citi applications. The role involves fielding issues, coordinating with technology partners for remediation, and participating in application releases and disaster recovery testing.

A strong problem-solving mindset and communication skills are essential. The position is hybrid, based in India (Pune/Chennai area), with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 3–7 years’ experience in apps support

Qualifications

• 3-7 years experience
• Unix and SQL mandatory
• Basic knowledge of apps support procedures and related areas
• Experience in process improvements
• Understanding of financial markets and products
• Knowledge of issue tracking and reporting tools
• Strong communication and diplomacy skills
• Team player with ability to work across functions

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and business support for Citi applications
• Field issues and queries, provide short-term resolutions and coordinate with technology partners for remediation
• Develop understanding of how areas of apps support integrate to achieve business goals
• Act as liaison between users/traders and internal tech teams/vendors
• Participate in disaster recovery testing
• Assist in application releases from development to deployment
• Perform post-release checks and maintain support documentation
• Assess risk and ensure compliance with laws and Citi policies
