Job summary

Macquarie Global Services is seeking an experienced DevOps/SRE professional to implement and support infrastructure and application solutions. You will strengthen DevOps and site reliability across core platforms and cloud environments, collaborating with global technology teams to boost stability and efficiency.

Responsibilities include partnering with business and tech teams, driving automation, and contributing to security and operational improvements in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of Linux systems administration, engineering and support.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container management platforms (e.g., EKS, GKE).
• Strong automation and scripting using Python, Ansible or Golang.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tooling including ArgoCD; cloud platforms AWS/GCP/Azure.

What role will you play?

In this role you will partner with business and technology teams to implement and support infrastructure and application solutions that meet evolving business needs. You will help build and enhance our DevOps and site reliability capabilities while supporting core platforms, cloud environments and automation initiatives. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with teams across our global technology organization to improve system stability, security and operational efficiency.

What you offer

• 8-10 years' of experience working with Linux systems administration, engineering and support.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container management platforms, including environments such as EKS or GKE.
• Strong automation and scripting experience using tools and languages such as Python, Ansible or Golang.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, including tools such as ArgoCD, and experience working with public cloud platforms including AWS, Google Cloud Platform or Azure.
• Strong development and troubleshooting skills, with experience supporting reliable platforms and collaborating across global technology teams.
