Base pay range: $17.00/hr
The Custodian will maintain cleanliness and appearance of the University Union, including cleaning offices, restrooms, meeting rooms, floors, windows, furniture, and assisting with moves, waste removal, snow removal, and building security. The role requires driving a State vehicle and traveling between campus locations.
The successful candidate will work inclusively, demonstrate integrity, and promote diversity and sustainability. Strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team are essential.
This is a full-time position with hours from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday (academic year) and adjusted hours during breaks. The salary is $17.00/hr with additional pay for weekend and night hours. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, paid holidays, personal days, sick leave, and vacation. Employment is contingent on background checks and legal work authorization.
