SmartRecruiters, Inc. is seeking a University Relations Specialist to build and nurture student relationships and engage with primary university partners in Chicago.

You will collaborate with Talent Acquisition to support campus recruitment strategies and enhance diversity initiatives on campus. In this role you will plan and execute campus events, coach attendees, manage event materials, and maintain outreach with universities, faculty, and student groups to strengthen partnerships and drive

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of campus recruitment or program coordination experience.
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Proficient with Google and Microsoft applications.
• Excellent planning and event coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with registering attendees for events and coaching participants.
• Help facilitate diverse selection of recruiters for Career Fairs/Campus Events.
• Partner with the Talent Acquisition Team to share event information with attendees.
• Update and manage career fair and events tracker and campus landing page.
• Research, identify, develop and maintain relationships with career services, diverse student groups, faculty and other stakeholders.
• Plan and execute campus events for recruitment and relationship building (info sessions, resume reviews, mock interviews).
• Develop and maintain outreach communications with university partners and external organizations.

Job Description

• Assist with registering employees for events, coaching attendees, and distributing event materials at events
• Help facilitate the appropriate diverse selection of recruiters/team members attending Career Fairs/Campus Events
• Partner with the Talent Acquisition Team to ensure attendees have all the necessary events information
• Update and manage career fair and events tracker and internal campus recruiting landing page
• Research, identify, develop and maintain relationships with career service representatives, diverse on campus student groups, faculty and other key stakeholders.
• Plan and execute campus events for recruitment and relationship building (i.e.,information sessions, resume review, mock interviewing, etc.)
• Assist with developing and maintaining outreach communications for newly identified university and external partners (i.e., career service representatives, key faculty, club leaders and other key stakeholders, diversity organizations)
• Research, identify, develop and maintain relationships with external campus organizations and partners keeping diversity and inclusion top of mind
• Assist with compiling the year-end results summary to HR leadership

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of work experience, preferably in campus recruitment or program coordinator
• Strong attention to detail; very organized
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Ability to plan and organize effectively
• Knowledge of Google and Microsoft applications
