University Relations Lead: Intern & New-Grad Recruiting

Job summary

Rivian is seeking a recruiting professional to plan intern headcount and recruit top intern and new graduate talent. You will build strong partnerships with hiring managers, universities and students, and lead career fairs, collegiate competitions, and intern programs such as Speaker Series and brown bag sessions.

You will drive the recruiting process, communicate effectively at all levels, and help connect candidates to Rivian culture and strategy while traveling 25%+ as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-6 years full-cycle recruiting.
• Minimum 4 years of university recruiting.
• Proven track record hiring top talent students.
• Drive recruiting process and provide timely follow-up to candidates and hiring teams.
• Build rapport with universities (professors, career services, student groups).
• Process improvement and implementation experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with focus on results.
• Ability to influence at all levels, from student to exec.
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentations, social media).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Program management and event planning a plus.
• Travel required for this position (25%+).

Responsibilities

• Work with business leaders to plan intern headcount.
• Recruit top intern and new grad talent.
• Build partnerships with Hiring managers, People Partners, Recruiters, cross-functional partners, Universities and Students.
• Organize career fairs and targeted recruiting events.
• Coordinate collegiate competitions.
• Design and implement internal programs for Interns including: Speaker Series, Brown bag info/networking sessions, team building.
• Connect people to Rivian culture and strategy.
