We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of **University Recruiting Specialist** based in Dallas, Texas.**Key Responsibilities:*** Partner with OxyChem leadership to identify current and future domestic hiring targets for the University Recruiting program.* Identify new strategies and process improvements to effectively manage campus recruiting efforts.* Develop pre-campus, on-campus and post-campus recruitment strategies.* Track on-campus activities/participation.* Manage university charitable contribution requirements.* Create marketing/branding opportunities with universities and students.* Manage candidate systems tracking and distribution.* Manage and complete offer process.* Coordinate and conduct recruitment efforts in conjunction with campus teams to deliver top quality new grad and intern candidates that align with our core and strategic universities.* Maintain historical records for new graduates and interns and prepare metrics reports to include in Human Resources’ monthly and quarterly reporting packages.* Develop university relations to promote OxyChem and enhance on-campus presence. This may include serving as liaison to educational department heads, developing relationships with on-campus professional/student organizations (i.e., AIChE, ASME, etc.) and other ad hoc networking, all designed to ensure consistency with OxyChem branding and communication strategies.* Plan and manage summer intern program and all activities associated with the program - including but not limited to: On-boarding, training and social events.* Partner with site and corporate leadership to define summer projects or assignments for interns.* Identify mentors for each of the interns.* Prepare for and lead intern evaluation meetings.* Facilitate approvals for job offers (i.e. repeat intern or full-time) for selected interns prior to their return to university.**Qualifications - External** Required Qualifications* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.* Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel (pivot tables & formulas), PowerPoint. Teams, and Forms.* Strong diplomacy skills with an approachable and friendly demeanor.* Demonstrates initiative, eagerness to learn, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.* Excellent communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to build relationships quickly with both internal teams and external partners.* Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams at both manufacturing sites and in our corporate offices, including executive leadership.* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.* General experience with employee policies and benefits administration.* Must be available to travel during peak recruiting seasons, including September – October and January – February. Desired Qualifications* Minimum 3 years of university recruitment experience preferred.* Familiarity with event management systems such as Yello.* Experience with utilizing job boards such as Symplicity and Handshake.* Experience with Workday (HCM and/or Recruiting) or similar HR systems.
