Whirlpool Corporation in Benton Harbor, MI is seeking a dynamic University Recruiter to join our Global Human Resources team. The role focuses on sourcing and selecting talent for Leadership Development Programs, internships, and early ID programs, while evolving our recruiting strategy with digital approaches.

You will advise on on-campus and online recruitment, build diverse talent pipelines, partner with internal stakeholders, and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 1+ years of experience in Recruiting, University Relations, Talent Acquisition or related Higher Ed roles.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop recruiting plans across the U.S. for Leadership Development Programs leveraging on-campus opportunities, digital platforms, and diversity conferences.
• Expand digital recruitment strategies to broaden talent pipelines.
• Partner with universities, diversity organizations, and platform vendors on inclusive recruiting plans.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Program Managers to standardize recruiting processes and improve efficiency.
• Conduct assessments, resume screenings, interviews, and debrief sessions to drive hiring decisions.
• Maintain candidate records in the applicant tracking system and support dashboards for HR leaders.
