Whirlpool Corporation in Benton Harbor, MI is seeking a University Recruiter to join our Global HR team. The role centers on sourcing and selecting talent for Leadership Development Programs, internships, and early ID programs, with a strong emphasis on digital recruiting and campus partnerships.

You will advise on recruiting strategy across the U.S., partner with universities and diversity groups, manage stakeholder relations, and train program reps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1+ years of recruiting or university relations experience.
• Knowledge of university recruiting and digital strategies.
• Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with vendor partnerships for recruiting strategy execution.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Advise and develop strategic recruiting and branding plans across the U.S. for Whirlpool's Leadership Development Programs using on-campus opportunities and digital platforms.
• Evolve digital recruitment strategies to broaden talent pipelines and partnerships with universities and diversity groups.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition Center of Expertise and internal stakeholders on recruiting plans.
• Drive projects to standardize the recruiting process and train Program Representatives.
• Conduct assessments, resume screenings, interviews, and debriefs to support hiring decisions.

The University Relations team at Whirlpool Corporation recruits undergraduate and graduate students into our Leadership Development Programs, early career, internship opportunities and early ID programs. This position will focus on the sourcing and selection of talent for our programs, defining recruiting strategy and managing relationships with internal stakeholders.
