Advanced GI Hospitalist needed at the University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine, Full-Time 7on/7off, at our UT Health Tyler Hospital in Tyler, TX
The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine is the first medical school in East Texas and the seventh in The University of Texas System. Its mission is to train future healthcare professionals to serve rural and underserved communities in East Texas.
The school offers a comprehensive Graduate Medical Education program with 20 residency and fellowship training programs, including family medicine, internal medicine, neurology, psychiatry, surgery, and anesthesia. Additionally, the Master of Biotechnology program emphasizes medical research and biotech innovation, preparing students for careers in diagnostics and therapeutic development.
Construction is underway on a new 248,000-square-foot Medical Education Building (MEB) in Tyler’s Midtown District, scheduled for completion in fall 2025. The MEB will support interdisciplinary education and expand medical training within the UT Health East Texas system.
