Advanced GI Hospitalist needed at the University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine, Full-Time 7on/7off, at our UT Health Tyler Hospital in Tyler, TX
The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine is the first medical school in East Texas and the seventh in The University of Texas System. Its mission is to train healthcare professionals to serve rural and underserved communities, especially in East Texas.
The school offers 20 residency and fellowship programs in areas such as family medicine, internal medicine, neurology, psychiatry, surgery, and anesthesia. It also offers a Master of Biotechnology program focused on medical research and biotech innovation, preparing students for careers in diagnostics and therapeutics.
Construction is underway on a new five-story, 248,000-square-foot Medical Education Building (MEB) in Tyler’s Midtown District, scheduled for completion in fall 2025. Connected to UT Health Tyler by a skybridge, it will support interdisciplinary education and expand medical training within the UT Health East Texas system.
