Job summary

NMDP is seeking an University Engagement & Event Coordinator to educate, engage, and inspire the public for registry recruitment and awareness in Tennessee. This role travels regionally to colleges, community groups, and organizations to achieve enrollment targets, working with marketing, volunteer services and the NMDP Foundation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
• Two years of experience in sales, business or community development with defined goals or targets.
• Experience in planning and implementing events to meet targets.
• Willingness to travel regionally (50%-75%), including evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with ethnically diverse communities and partners to plan engagement and recruitment activities.
• Deliver public presentations and written communications to broaden NMDP’s reach and participation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create engagement strategies for diverse goals and targets.
• Plan, organize, and execute mission-focused events (live and digital) to meet enrollment and donor goals.
• Educate prospective volunteers/donors about NMDP’s mission and processes and provide training as needed.
• Track and monitor volunteer data and hours, supporting recognition programs.
