Job summary

NMDP seeks a Member Recruitment & Event Coordinator to educate, engage, and inspire public support through presentations, awareness events, and registry recruitment. The role focuses on ethnically diverse communities and builds relationships with colleges, community organizations, corporations, and public safety units.

You will plan live and digital events, partner with marketing and donor services, and travel 25–50% within the region to meet enrollment goals while delivering excellent customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
• Two years of experience in sales, business or community development, client account management, event planning and implementation where defined goals or targets are required.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains relationships within ethnically diverse communities to plan and coordinate engagement and recruitment efforts.
• Public speaking and written communication to expand the NMDP mission and increase participation.
• Collaborates to create engagement and recruitment strategy plans for each fiscal year to achieve diverse goals.
• Plans, organizes, and delivers mission-focused events (live and digital) to ensure excellent registry member experience.
• Educates prospective volunteer donors about NMDP's mission and the donation process and expectations.
