Job summary

NMDP in Sacramento, CA, is seeking a driven Member Recruitment & Event Coordinator to educate and engage diverse communities and drive registry recruitment through events and presentations.

The role builds partnerships with colleges, organizations, and networks, coordinates awareness activities, and collaborates with marketing and the NMDP Foundation to meet enrollment goals while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in donor or marrow PBSC programs is a plus.
• Two years of experience in sales, business or community development with defined goals.

Responsibilities

• Engage ethnically diverse communities to plan and coordinate recruitment events and education activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, organizations, media, and local contacts.
• Develop and execute engagement and recruitment strategies with account managers and marketing.
• Plan and deliver mission-focused events (live and digital) to achieve enrollment goals.
• Educate prospective volunteers and donors about NMDP’s mission and processes.
