Job summary

National Marrow Donor Program is seeking a proactive Member Recruitment & Event Coordinator to educate, engage, and inspire the public to join the registry through diverse outreach, events, and education. You will travel regionally to plan community activities and collaborate with partners to reach enrollment goals.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, public speaking, and coordinating with internal teams to maximize donor recruitment and awareness efforts in service of diverse communities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sales and marketing principles.
• Experience in volunteer management or outreach programs.
• Ability to generate leads and build community partnerships.
• Experience planning and executing events, in-person or virtual.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships within ethnically diverse communities to plan engagement and recruitment.
• Educate and inform target audiences about NMDP mission and donation process.
• Collaborate with marketing and regional teams to develop engagement strategies.
• Plan and deliver mission-focused events and activities to meet enrollment goals.
• Coordinate with internal partners to ensure compliant, effective outreach.
